Family Open Day at Essex Outdoors Harlow

Essex Outdoors Harlow, an EES for Schools service, will be a holding an open day on Sunday 2 July, open to teachers, school leaders and families.

The open day will provide an opportunity to learn about the products and services on offer at the Harlow outdoor centre, including school holiday activity days, professional courses, and school residential and day visits.

Schools will also benefit from a schools-specific talk led by James Harris, operations manager for Essex Outdoors Harlow. The talk will focus on the benefits of outdoor activities and how Essex Outdoors can meet the needs of schools and academies.

A selection of activities will be available to try such as archery, climbing, high ropes and paddle boarding. All activities are free of charge and will be led by instructors and support staff.

Activities are suitable for ages five upwards (with parental supervision) and start from 12:00.

Essex Outdoors joined the EES for Schools family last year and has a proven track record of increased educational impact through outdoor learning aligned to the national curriculum.
