Teaching and Learning Review

Leaders in schools are judged by how well they develop and maintain the quality of teaching and learning in their schools. Teaching is first and foremost judged through its impact on learning, using a range of evidence over time.

School leaders need to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to accurately evaluate current strengths and identify which key areas for development will have the greatest impact on standards.

We can support you in this process, helping to create solutions for your teaching and learning challenges.

Teaching and Learning Review

Our Teaching and Learning Reviews will provide you with a clear, external view of your school’s strengths, weaknesses and recommended key areas for development. We help you to focus development within the school to impact on teaching and learning. The Teaching and Learning Review consists of a day in your school as well as preparatory data review, a detailed report and a debrief for you, your SLT and/or your Governing Body.

Our approach is positive, collaborative, evidence-based and developmental. We work with you so that review skills are modeled and capacity is built in the school’s own leadership team.

Our advisers are highly experienced in carrying out whole school reviews and have trained in Ofsted inspection skills, ensuring that the evaluation of practice in your school will be accurate and well informed.
