English Curriculum Support

The new national curriculum poses a number of challenges for schools including a shift of focus from processes and skills to knowledge and from a learning continuum to mastery. Schools need to ensure that the new programmes of study are fully in place, that expectations are high and that teaching ensures progress in learning. In a period of transition it is vital that schools remain abreast of new developments, sharing best practice through collaborative learning communities.

Our development programmes are designed to support your school in meeting these challenges:

English Subject Leader Network

The Subject Leader Network provides your school with essential access to the latest information, peer networks and effective support and development across the year.

The network will ensure your school has the latest information on aspects of learning and teaching, assessment, curriculum provision and leadership as well as access to curriculum workshops and opportunities to share practice with other schools. You can choose to join the primary or infant network.

There are three options for subscription (Standard, Premier and Premier Plus), which allow schools to make choices on the services they would like to be offered.

The Standard offer includes:

  • exciting and innovative termly development sessions for subscriber schools only
